改編自文學作品的戲劇，對於觀眾來說應該毫不陌生，但是改編本地文學作品的室內歌劇表演，你又有否看過? ​

本地年輕作曲家盧定彰把西西的著名短篇〈像我這樣的一個女子〉改編，創作了他首套室內歌劇 — “A Woman Such as Myself”，並於 2018年8月於捷克奧斯特拉瓦現代新歌劇節首演。​

​

我們會先放映於錄音室拍攝的 “A Woman Such as Myself” 表演錄像，盧定彰與黃怡會於後續的對談環節分享他們把西西的作品轉化成音樂作品的因由、過程和及感想。​

You may be familiar with drama adapted from classical literature, but what about chamber opera adapted from contemporary literature?​

​

The composer Daniel Lo adapted Xi Xi’s short story A Girl Like Me, premiered in Czech Republic at New Opera Days Ostrava in June 2018. ​

​

We will screen the video of ‘A Woman Such as Myself” recorded in the studio. In conversation afterward, Daniel will discuss with Wong Yi the process of adapting Xi Xi's literary works into classical musical forms. ​
