One City One Book Hong Kong x Table of Two Cities - THE ARRIVAL: Food & Migration
A conversation based on Shaun Tan's graphic novel, "The Arrival", about the inclusionary (and sometimes exclusionary) aspects of food in migration and the role that food plays in negotiating interactions between migrants and hosts. Egyptian hors d'oeuvres will be served.

In collaboration with the Table of Two Cities: Untold stories of refugees in Hong Kong, The Arrival: Food & Migration is a conversation based on Shaun Tan's graphic novel, The Arrival, about the inclusionary (and sometimes exclusionary) aspects of food in migration and the role that food plays in negotiating interactions between migrants and hosts.
Food will be prepared by Table of Two Cities and three speakers from diverse backgrounds will be leading the discussion. Make sure you check out this fantastic event!
