Please join us at the very special event "Sketches in Notebooks: The Arrival Poetry" to celebrate the poetic elegance and eloquence of Shaun Tan's The Arrival, co-organised by One City One Book Hong Kong (我城我書) and Cha: An Asian Literary Journal, as part of the Cha Reading Series (http://bit.ly/2DrlbI9).
Confirmed speakers (so far): Chan Lai Kuen, Felix Chow, Tammy Lai-Ming Ho (who will be reading a poem by Belle Ling), Henrik Hoeg, Keon Woong Lee, Louise Leung, Tegan Smyth, Collier Nogues, Uzma (who will read her own poem and also a poem by Kate Rogers), and Lian-Hee Wee.
We have invited TWENTY-TWO Hong Kong poets to write poems in response to The Arrival, and these poems will be read at "Sketches in Notebooks", moderated by Cha's co-editor Tammy Lai-Ming Ho.
